1989

Flöz was founded by designers Peter Golz and Oliver Wahl in Essen in 1989, initially as an industrial design agency. In 1993, another team was established in the field of communication design, and Flöz developed into a full-service agency.

Since then, both teams, 3D design and marketing, have been working together in an interdisciplinary manner under one roof, resulting in valuable synergies for both teams in their daily project work. We can professionally deliver creatives in the areas of packaging development, P.O.S. and trade fair design, 3D animation and CGI visualisation in-house, which makes processes efficient, linear and uncomplicated for our customers in particular, without the need to manage external interfaces. This speeds up processes, reduces friction losses and ensures consistent results across all touchpoints. 

Those who, like us, also design products develop a special product expertise that offers decisive advantages in all phases of market launch. We know the USP of a product – and we know the target group's expectations of the product. This enables us to develop a coherent narrative and relevant storytelling, including a campaign for the product, more quickly.

Human first

AI has also significantly changed our work, simplifying workflows, expanding the design toolbox and creating new areas of expertise.

But only through the interaction of human creativity and AI technology can we set new standards in brand communication. The unreflective use of AI only leads to a uniform brand look. Even though AI tools enable us to make our processes more efficient and create new visual worlds in many areas, we continue to focus on ‘human first’. In a world full of synthetic content, human authenticity and credible brand experiences are becoming the new currency in brand communication.

For us, technology remains the tool, while human creativity and ideas make the difference.
