Launch of a Tech Brand

Our task: to develop a brand identity for a plant manufacturer that originated as a spin-off of the Marquardt Group, a leading mechatronics specialist, and now operates as an independent company. Although the former Marquardt unit can draw on 30 years of history, it has to start afresh as a start-up, so to speak, under a new name and a new brand.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORD MARK

In several workshops, the key words and areas of expertise were defined and the complete roadmap for the brand launch was developed. The new brand name was to establish a connection to the parent company Marquardt. Our branding experts presented several solutions, of which the word mark ‘MARQ 4 AUTOMATION’ ultimately prevailed. The new word mark reflects the company's core competence as a provider of state-of-the-art automation solutions for production.

Brand manual

After designing the word mark, the basic design guidelines were defined in a brand manual and initial design markers were created for further communication media.

Web Design

The corporate website was designed and the front-end layout developed as a central hub for presenting the company‘s solutions and generating leads. At the same time, we had to deliver the corresponding content with photo and video shoots. In addition to the complex facilities, we wanted to showcase the people behind the brand.

Social Media

LinkedIn was chosen as the primary channel for the brand launch.
After the basic set-up, the first LinkedIn workshops were held with the marketing and sales team and the first posts were created.
